Brownster AI ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Boone Systems LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Brownster AI mobile application.

- Account information (name, email) when you create an account or sign in
- Work-related entries you create in the app (hours, drafts, contract questions, notes)
- Subscription and payment information (handled by Apple via the App Store; we do not receive your payment card details)
- Communications you send to us (support requests, feedback)

- Device information (device model, operating system version, app version)
- Usage data (which features you use, crash reports, performance metrics)
- Approximate location (only if you grant permission, and only used for app functionality such as time-zone alignment)
- Advertising identifiers, only if you consent via the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the App's features
- To save and sync your entries across your devices
- To process subscription purchases and manage your account
- To respond to your support requests
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
- To display advertising, when applicable, and to measure ad performance (subject to your consent)
3. Advertising
The App may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use information as described in Google's Privacy Policy. On iOS, we use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework: ads are served as non-personalized unless you grant tracking permission.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the App (cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, advertising)
- Apple, in connection with your App Store purchases and subscription management
- Authorities, when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and entries for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
6. Your Choices
- You can disable location, notifications, and tracking permissions in your device settings at any time
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings
- You can request deletion of your account by emailing daniel@boonesystems.com
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or by other reasonable means.
